The COND Blogography: Charles Lyle Meng

Having spent the whole of his life in the Bay Area, Charlie Meng has come to fully embody everything we love about NorCal and a few things we hate. Born and raised in Dublin, a.k.a. "Ghetto D", Charlie has grown to be a fine young man who has made his mark on the valley through his love for the community of Valley Bible Church and his shameless fashion sense. For years he has given his heart to high school students at VBC (and they often return the favor, if you know what I'm sayin). More recently, Charles has found himself quickly climbing the rungs of the fashion world ladder as a "Wardrobe Consultant" at EDGE Shop for Men. Not "The Edge", okay. Just EDGE. Seriously, get it right. Anyway, he often recruits his friends to model for Danville's finest men's clothing boutique. However, he has yet to ask his roommate Tyler to pose for Edge, which, considering his boyish good looks and sleek body, continues to baffle us all. Charlie is a great roommate and friend who faithfully keeps up with the Cond's steady flow of dirty dishes and shares his love for Christ with all through his generosity and kindness.

Things you should know about Charlie:
1. He loves watching the Simpson's while eating fish sticks
2. He loves scraping the salt off the tray when the fish sticks are gone
3. He loves scraping the salt off the bottom of any dish or plate that just had a salty morsel on it
4. He rarely stays up past 10:00pm
5. If he does stay up past 10:00, he only does so to play guitar hero for two hours before he walks upstairs muttering about how "foolish" it was to stay up so late
6. His favorite food is pizza
7. He use to be in a hard core band, which is why his voice will forever be raspy (the ladies love it)
8. Favorite McDonald's Dollar Menu Item: Double-Chee, usually 3 or 4 at a time
9. He has crazy dreams when he eats fast food right before bed (see #8, that can't be healthy)

Go visit Charlie at Edge today, or stop by the Cond and wake him up. That's about all he does.

From the bottom of my heart,
Pletch
